This winter was a long one and I think most of you will agree with me that we are SO ready for spring! Why are we so eager for spring? As I sit back and ponder that question, what comes to me is that, Spring brings a sense of new beginnings, fresh energy and light, a renewal. When I walk out my door in the morning and smell that freshness, the trees budding, and hear the birds chirping it fills me with happiness and a sense of peace. So in honor of these beautiful days coming upon us, I wanted to provide my followers with some tips on how to welcome spring in with intentions to revitalize ourselves, feel more alive and at peace.
Tip #1 - Spring Clean and Declutter
Why do some of us find ourselves spring cleaning without thinking about it, it wasn't the plan for the day but all of a sudden you are washing walls or cleaning out closets? I believe it is our subconscious actions and thoughts at work to renew and release the old and to welcome in the new fresh air and season upon us. When we are spring cleaning it feels good, makes us happier, it can even feel like we are releasing baggage holding us back. So go through those closets and release cloths you have not worn in the last year and give back to women in need by donating them to various charities, or take them to a consignment store. Go ahead and clean the house top to bottom, washing walls, baseboards, windows, and have intentions while you are doing this to release any negative energy that may be holding on.
Take this one step further, after you have cleared out the clutter and cleaned, and now do a space cleanse to remove negative energy and energy not serving you, that has been held up in your home. Open a window in each room, burn dried sage and walking slowly through each room. As you walking through your home, have clear intentions in your mind to clear the space of any negative energy and energy that is not serving you and your family, and ask to bring in vibrant, healthy energy, love and light. Repeat this in your head as you walk through each room.
Now get your diffuser going with oils like Sandalwood, Breathe, Frankincense, Purify, Palo santo, and Myrrh, as they cleanse the air of negative energy. These are great oils to diffuse on a regular basis.
Tip #2 - Spring Skin Renewal

In the past year someone told me about binaural beats and I now play it daily in the home. If you have never heard of this before, like I hadn't, you find it on You Tube and there are many beats for many purposes. You will find that some you love and some you don't like the sound of. Find what resonates for you. What is binaural beats and what are the benefits? It is the form of sound wave therapy in which the right and left ears listen to two slightly different frequency tones yet perceive the tone as one.
Research has shown that when a person listens to binaural beats for a recommended time, their levels of arousal change. Researchers believe these changes occur because the binaural beats activate specific systems within the brain. An electroencephalogram (EEG) that recorded the electrical brain activity of people listening to binaural beats showed that the effect on a person's body varied according to the frequency pattern used.
